I’ve known Golf Singh for over 5 years now, from when he first came to Toronto to where he’s built an incredible following today—and one thing hasn’t changed: who he is. He’s the same down-to-earth, humble guy who genuinely wants to help you improve and enjoy the game. Whether it was through lessons or just running into him at the course or range, he’s played a real role in shaping my game over the years—putting, chipping, driving, wedge play. I’ve had a lot of coaches, but his advice sticks because of how simple and repeatable it is. He teaches golf in a way that actually makes you want to play more. Last year, he helped me win a friends tournament. I wasn’t about to fix a 20+ year swing overnight—but he gave me one key piece: start the ball on line and play a controlled power fade. That was the missing piece, and it made all the difference. But what stood out the most was watching him with my 4-year-old daughter during his Sunday kids program. Over just 4 weeks, I saw patience, energy, and a genuine passion for teaching kids. They made it fun while still building real fundamentals. By week four, she was already driving the ball—and more importantly, she was excited to keep going. That’s what matters. Sukh and his team aren’t just coaches—they’re building a love for the game. He’ll be a staple in our family for years to come.

Having both of my children enrolled in the junior program offered by Sukh Jawandha, also known as "Golf Singh," has been an incredibly fulfilling experience. As a parent, seeing my kids taught by someone who is a proud, strong representation of the Sikh community and fills me with immense pride. Growing up, the opportunity to learn a sport like golf simply wasn't available to me. To see my children now mastering a skill I am so passionate about—under the guidance of a mentor who reflects our values—is something truly special. Golf can be a notoriously frustrating sport to learn, but Sukh and his team make it fun, enjoyable, and accessible. Their patience, care, and clear direction ensure the kids stay engaged, and having multiple coaches providing their own unique perspectives has helped my children catch on remarkably fast. Beyond the technical skills, I am thrilled to see the golf community growing within the South Asian community. Whether my kids pursue the sport long-term or not, the character, work ethic, and etiquette they are learning through this "gentleman’s game" are life lessons that will serve them forever. I cannot recommend this program enough.
